Brake fluid for hydraulic drum brake - and disc brake systems Eurol Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 is recommended for ABS and ASR braking systems. Especially the low viscosity value compared to DOT 3 and DOT 4 is particularly well-suited for these systems. Eurol DOT 5.1 has a high wet boiling point, significantly reducing the risk of vapor formation in the braking system. This is important when using asbestos-free brake linings and the associated higher heat development. Note: For safety reasons, the brake fluid should be periodically replaced according to the manufacturer's instructions. Eurol DOT 5.1 is compatible with other synthetic brake fluids that meet the standards of FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1.
