Heat transfer oil for closed systems Euroltherm B is a heat transfer oil consisting of specially refined paraffinic base oils, which is applicable in a wide temperature range from -10 to 315 oC. Euroltherm B is developed for closed circulation systems with expansion tanks. Euroltherm B has excellent thermal and oxidative stability, allowing it to be used for extended periods at bulk temperatures up to 315 oC (and film temperatures up to 335 oC), minimizing carbon deposits. The low vapor pressure of this oil implies low volatility, allowing the system pressure to remain low. Euroltherm B has a low viscosity and a high thermal conductivity coefficient, resulting in maximum heat transfer, so pumps, valves, and heating coils can be dimensioned small.
