Mineral gear oil with 'limited slip' technology Eurol HP Gear Oil LSD is a transmission oil at the API: GL-5 level with a limited-slip additive for hypoid axle drives and limited-slip differentials. Eurol HP Gear Oil LSD contains additives that protect the transmissions under the most severe conditions, including shock loads. Due to the special friction characteristics, it prevents cracking, squeaking, and/or vibration. Moreover, it has good fluidity at low temperatures, allowing the oil to perform optimally in all seasons. Eurol HP Gear Oil LSD has excellent stability against oxidation and aging and does not affect seals. Special friction modifiers make this oil suitable for use in 'limited-slip differentials', with or without clutch plates, in both passenger cars and trucks, helping to avoid annoying noise when cornering. For tractors and other off-road applications, Eurol recommends using the HPG LSD 2000p. Eurol HP Gear Oil LSD is recommended for hypoid transmissions, hub reductions, transfer cases, gearboxes, power take-offs, and differentials, where API GL-5 and/or MIL-L-2105D are recommended.
