Fully synthetic UHPD motor oil, based on low SAPS technology Eurol Marathol FE 5W-30 is a fully synthetic engine oil for commercial vehicles, based on so-called 'low SAPS' technology. This means that sulfur, phosphorus, and sulfate ash concentrations are drastically reduced, so that the exhaust after-treatment systems are protected. Eurol Marathol FE 5W-30 contributes to improved fuel efficiency and, through special additive technology, both the oil and the engine remain clean in an unforeseen manner. In Euro-4, Euro-5, and Euro-6 engines, harmful exhaust emissions are significantly reduced. Eurol Marathol FE 5W-30 is suitable for extended drain intervals, when allowed by the OEM and, depending on operating conditions and filtration methods, maintenance costs can be saved. Eurol Marathol FE 5W-30 can also be applied in older trucks, equipped with Euro-3 engines, where a Mercedes 228.5 or MAN 3277 specification is prescribed, as well as Renault RXD in countries where low sulfur diesel is used.
