Synthetic, polyalphaolefin based gearbox lubricant Eurol Synmax PAO ISO-VG 460 is a gearbox oil specifically developed for industrial applications such as the bath lubrication of heavily and/or shock-loaded gear and worm gear transmissions, and circulation lubrication. Eurol Synmax PAO ISO-VG 460 is a so-called Mild EP oil with a high load-carrying capacity (EP) which excellently absorbs sudden peak loads. Eurol Synmax PAO ISO-VG 460 possesses a low friction coefficient due to the synthetic base oils, resulting in lower energy consumption and lower operating temperatures. Eurol Synmax PAO ISO-VG 460 is extremely thermally and oxidation stable, allowing it to be used for extended periods at high temperatures; evaporation losses are limited by the synthetic base oil. Due to the high viscosity index, a thicker lubricating film is formed at high operating temperatures than with mineral products of the same ISO-VG class.
